Tuesday, July 15, 2008

This “Day Trip” will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to the first 131 people who book their airline reservation...so hurry and book your tickets today as our last "Day Trip" sold out in 21 hours.

What: Day Trip round-trip flight from RFD to Bowling Green/Warren County Regional Airport (BWG) to tour the caves and/or hike at the Mammoth Cave National Park, take a scenic boat tour , go horseback riding, tour the National Corvette Museum or explore dozen of other area attractions.

Why Bowling Green? Where else can you go spelunking, witness an American icon in the works, and go for a twisted ride in the air all in one day? Nowhere, other than Bowling Green, KY. Legendary cars, wooden roller coasters, and underground boat tours drive Bowling Green's ability to entertain and educate visitors, students and residents alike. The Bowling Green/Warren County Regional Airport (BWG) is conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park and many other attractions. Plus, for those who really want to venture out into the "Southern" hospitality of Kentucky and Tennessee, Nashville is located just one hour south. Bowling Green rolls out a red carpet experience for anyone in search of an opportunity to sample the Southern hospitality of a unique town on the move. Mammoth Cave National Park - located in Bowling Green, KY - offers both the mystery of entering the world's longest known cave systems and the splendor of visiting one of the finest natural settings in Kentucky.

The mystery of Mammoth Cave can be experienced on a wide variety of different tours. Some are short and allow a quick peek into the cave environment near two different entrances. Others take several hours and show different sections of the cave and explore a variety of such subjects as cave archeology, prehistoric and historic exploration, geology, and cave biology. The longest regular tour requires four hours of walking to explore four and one half miles of passageway and emerges from a completely different entrance. Click Here for tour info.
