The Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) is pleased to announce that the USAF Thunderbirds will be the featured performer at AirFest 2008 scheduled for June 6, 7, & 8, 2008! Rockford was one of a handful of Midwest cities selected to host this military team - 2008 marks their 55th year of air show demonstrations.

• Gates Open: 9am
• Show Time: 10:30am - 4:30pm (approximate)

Note: Fireworks will conclude the Friday night show; Thunderbirds will perform on Saturday and Sunday and will be the last act to perform.

Parking Options

• Park & Ride: FREE - Park your vehicle and a bus will shuttle you to AirFest grounds. (limited availability & spaces)

• Park & Walk: $5 - The Park & Walk lot is located on Airport grounds and is very large. Be prepared to walk up to 1.5 miles to the AirFest Main Gate.

• Preferred Parking: $15 - Short walk via walkway to the entrance gate; lot is paved.

• Disabled/Handicapped: Free or $5 -Valid disabled credentials required. $5 parking lot is on pavement adjacent to show grounds. Free disabled parking is available in "Park & Ride" lot.
